6/194 Barn circa 35 yards north of Barty Farmhouse II

Barn. Late C17. Timber-framed with original thick red brick walls in Flemish bond on outside and English bond on inside. Plain tile roof. On stone plinth, with ventilation holes. Roof half-hipped both ends. Interior: 5 bays with central mid- strey. Aisled both sides. Aisle posts on wood cills with brick bases, sharply-cut jowls and curved braces. Clasped purlin roof with no principal rafters.
