Description
Chevertons is a small, two-storeyed timber-framed house dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, with later additions. The original timber frame is largely still present but mostly concealed by subsequent brickwork and modern extensions. The roof is covered in red tiles. The front gable features 18th-century brickwork in a Flemish bond pattern, with a cambered opening on the ground floor. The building has stacks from several periods. Later walling is constructed of brick and some weatherboarding. The windows are casements; one notable window is a 17th-century metal casement with square leaded lights.
