Description
Valley End is a 17th and 18th century house that has been modernized. It is two stories tall with an irregular arrangement of windows. The roof is made of red tiles, hipped at the south-west end and gabled at the north-east, where it covers a small 18th century extension. The house features a central tall brick chimney stack with projections. The walls are constructed from a timber frame with painted brick infilling, while the later extension has painted brickwork in Flemish bond style. The windows have been replaced with modern casements. Each long side of the house has a small flat-roofed modern extension, with one serving as a porch on the south-east side, also made of painted brickwork.
