Description

This is an early 16th-century timber-framed house with additions from the 18th century. It is two storeys and has an attic, with a three-gabled south front featuring three windows. The roof is tiled, and the south and west gables are tile-hung. The exposed timber frame is on the east and north sides, with red brick infill. The remaining walls are red brick in various bonds, including Flemish Garden Wall bond and Flemish bond with rubbed flat arches, and incorporate a plinth. A large chimney is located on the north side. The windows are casements and sash windows, all set in exposed frames. A Tuscan porch with two columns and two pilasters supports a boarded cheek, architrave, fanlight, and a six-panelled door.
