Description

Hyde House is a 17th century house that has undergone extensive alterations in the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a red plain tile roof. The building has two storeys and originally had a timber-framed structure with a three-window range, although it now has modern casements. Notable architectural details include a dentilled eaves course and a small doorcase at the west end, which is adorned with a pediment and moulded architraves. The house retains its original chimney stack, and there are 19th century and modern extensions at the rear.
