Description
Cowfold Farmhouse is an 18th-century building, with 20th-century additions. It is a two-storey farmhouse with four windows, and a modern, matching extension to the south providing one further window. The roof is covered with red tiles and is half-hipped at the ends, with three half-hipped gables at the rear, featuring a shafted stack. The walls are red brick in Flemish bond, with a flush blue header band on the first floor and cambered ground-floor openings. A plinth is present. The rear gables are half-timbered. Modern casement windows are incorporated. An old, plain doorway is included, supplemented by a canopy. A northern entrance also exists, with a large, tile-roofed canopy. This building has group value.
