Description

Alcrofts is a 17th-century house that stands two storeys tall, constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior, topped with ridge and gable roofs covered in peg tiles. It features red brick chimneys at both ends. On the first storey, there is a range of three modern casement windows. The ground storey has a modern porch located centrally, flanked by semi-circular bow windows on either side, both also fitted with modern casements. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing with a peg-tiled ridge and gable roof, which is of unit height. This wing is further extended by a single-storey, one-bay extension, which is also ridged, gabled, and covered in peg tiles.
