Description

Little Prior’s House is a 17th-century house located on West Bergholt Hall Road. Originally a two-bay structure with a central chimney bay and a front entrance, it also features a rear winding stair. The house is timber-framed and was originally constructed with wattle and daub infill panels. It is two storeys high, with a ridged, gabled roof covered in peg tiles. The windows are now modern wooden casements. A lean-to addition has been built along the rear. The interior retains the original timber frame and several doors with a creased appearance.
