Description
Hugh's is a small house that dates from the 17th to early 18th century, with an early 19th-century addition. The older part of the house has two bays on the left, constructed with a timber frame, whitewashed brick, and render infill, topped with a plain tile roof and featuring a rebuilt brick chimney on the left. It is one storey high with an attic. The ground floor has three 20th-century leaded casements, and there is one in a gabled dormer and one in the left gable. The left gable also includes a 20th-century lean-to porch with an arched door. The early 19th-century bay on the right is made of flint with brick dressings, has a tiled roof, and is flanked by brick chimneys. This section is two storeys tall and features a 20th-century two-light leaded casement, a small larder window, and an old board door. There is a lean-to at the front between the two right bays.
