Description

Coney Byes is a late 17th century house with a square plan, consisting of two parallel ranges that feature ridged gabled roofs and an intervening valley. A red brick chimney stack is centrally located on the main range. The building is timber framed and plastered, although some parts have been recently bricked in. The main elevation displays three pairs of sash windows with glazing bars on the first storey, and three additional sash windows on the ground storey. The roofs are covered with peg tiles, and the returns are pilastered.
