Description
Pound Farmhouse is an early 19th-century house located on Meeningtree Road in Dedham. It features a grey gault brick front that is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The roof is ridged, gabled, and covered with slate, and there is a chimney stack on the right side. The returns of the house are pilastered. The central door on the ground floor has six fielded panels and is set within a Doric portico that includes two round columns and a flat entablature. On either side of the door, there are a pair of small-paned hornless sash windows, and on the first storey, there is a matching range of three sash windows. At the rear, there is a parallel red brick range with a peg-tiled roof.
