Description

Brook Cottages is a range of cottages dating from the 15th and 16th centuries, situated on the north side of Brook Street in Dedham. The cottages are timber-framed and feature a peg-tiled ridged and gabled roof. The central chimney stack is rebuilt in red brick. The structure is two storeys high and exhibits a jetty underbuilt. The first storey has a series of four leaded casement windows. The ground storey includes a lean-to extension to the west, along with two small paned casements, two panelled doors, two leaded casements, one planked door, and two modern casements.
