Description

Doggets Hammer Farm is a 16th-century cross-wing with later additions. The building is timber-framed and jettied at the north and south for three bays, standing two storeys high with a ridged, gabled roof covered in peg tiles. The roof structure incorporates crown posts, scarfs halved and bridled. The first storey is weatherboarded, while the ground storey is plastered. A red brick chimney stack is located on the rear slope. The building has leaded casement windows.
