Description

Silver Street Farmhouse is a 16th-century timber-framed and plastered house featuring a crosswing at the south-west end. The crosswing has a jettied first storey at the front. The building has been divided into two tenements and consists of two storeys. In 1930, the house underwent renovations, during which brick nogging was added to the first storey of the crosswing front. The windows are 20th-century casements. The roof is tiled and includes a chimney stack with two diagonally set shafts on a rectangular base.
