Description

The Green is a 17th-century timber-framed house located on Wilsons Lane in Marks Tey. The house is two storeys high, with timber framing and weatherboarding on the gable ends. The front elevation is rough cast. The roof is ridged and gabled, covered in peg tiles, with eaves and two red brick chimney stacks on the rear pitch. On the first storey, there is a range of three leaded casement windows arranged in sets of three. On the ground storey, a central front door is recessed and has fielded reveals, with a six-panel door. To the left and right of the front door are sets of three leaded casement windows.
