Description

MARKS TEY COGGESHALL ROAD (A120) 1. 5214 TL 82 SE 10/39 Godbolts Farmhouse II GV 2. Probably C15. H-plan with long wings framed in timber and plastered, with ridged, gabled and peg-tiled roofs. Central red brick chimney stack. Ground storey has a central gabled porch and leaded casement windows exist 1/1 on each cross-wing. One gabled dormer on hall roof and one gabled bay window left, of porch on ground storey. Inside: heavy timber frame visible. (RCHM 2).
