Description

Samsons Cottage is a house likely built in the 18th century. It consists of a long range framed in timber and plaster, featuring two end chimney stacks made of red brick. The roof is ridged, gabled, and covered with peg tiles. The south front has three flat dormers, each containing a pair of small-paned casement windows. The ground floor includes a central plain door flanked by two sets of small-paned horizontal sash windows. There is a lower extension to the west. The north elevation features a one-storey, one-bay projection with a ridged and gabled roof, as well as one flat-topped dormer.
