Description
Marks Tey Hall is a mainly 16th-century timber-framed house built in an H-plan layout, featuring two storeys and attics. The exterior is plastered and has a guilloche band at the first-floor level. A modern 'Tudor' porch is present, along with a gable on the north front. The right cross-wing has a lean-to on its east side, which includes an Elizabethan round-headed and keystoned casement window. All windows are leaded casements. The roofs are ridged and gabled, covered with peg tiles, and there are three red brick chimney stacks. The hall is located on a former moated site.
