Description

This is a 16th-century barn located 60 yards northwest of Bourne Farmhouse in West Bergholt. The barn is timber-framed with flat studs and rafters, standing one storey high on a red brick base and covered in black weatherboarding. It is five bays long and features a midstrey facing north. The structure includes primary bracing and arch-bracing in the middle bays, along with a collar and purlin roof.
