Description

This is a 16th-century barn located to the north-west of Woodlands in Great Horkesley. The barn has four bays and is constructed with a timber frame, covered in black weatherboarding. It features one gabled south midstrey. The roof is ridged and gabled, thatched with tiled valleys. Inside, you can find bladed scarfs, lapped collars, jowled main posts, and end rafters that have been reused from a crown-post roof.
