Description

Highlands is a 16th century cottage that is timber framed and plastered. The road-facing gable is cased in painted brick, while one bay on the west wall has exposed framing. The south bay is roofed with machined red tiles, and there are two framed bays to the north that are thatched and feature two eyebrow dormers. A red brick chimney stack is located at the junction of the roofs. The ground elevation on the west side includes a timber 'Romayne' window head, two nine-pane casements, a west door, and a twelve-pane fixed casement.
