Description

The Church of England Primary School, located on School Lane in Great Horkesley, is a mid-19th century building. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and is a single storey high, featuring two crow-stepped gables. The roof is ridged and covered with banded peg tiles, and it has stone copings, outset eaves corbels, and angle buttresses. A notable feature is the cinquefoil stone niche in the front gable. The front window has a pointed segmental head and includes two mullions. On the west wall, there is a range of three pairs of 8-pane sash windows.
