Description

Wisteria is a 16th-century cottage located in Great Horkesley. It is a single-storey building with attics, constructed from timber framing and plaster. The end gables are covered with weatherboarding, and the roof is ridged and thatched. On the ground floor, there are two pairs of casement windows, with matching casements in each gable peak. At the south end, there is a hipped addition clad in slate. The cottage features a central red brick chimney stack that has a modern top. There are two doors, each with a hood supported by carved brackets, located at the front corners of the building. The top plates of the structure protrude and have a flat section.
