Description

The main building at Truman's Brewery is an 18th-century structure featuring four storeys constructed of red brick laid in Flemish bond. The roofs are slated, with ridged and gabled designs that vary in height. One of the roofs has stone-coped gables and includes a louvered lantern topped with a wrought iron wind-vane. The windows are set under segmental brick arches and consist of small paned sashes in exposed boxes, which were originally arranged in an orderly manner but are now mostly blocked. Cast iron wall anchors are present at most floor levels.
