Description

This is a 16th-century house with 18th-century additions, forming an L-shaped plan. The structure is timber-framed and plastered, with a red brick front on the north side. It is two storeys high, with several roof forms: ridged, gabled, hipped, and covered with pegtiled tiles. There are three brick chimneys: one at the return, another at the south-east end, and a third inside the return. The north front has a range of sash windows; the upper floor windows have small panes, while the ground floor windows have two panes each, all set within segmental stucco surrounds. A central front door is positioned between the ground floor windows. The door has a Regency overlight, casing, and hood. The east frontage, dating to circa 1750, features a parapet and a central front door with a pedimented casing, dentils, and consoles. The door itself has six fielded panels.
