Description

No. 32 Colneford Hill is a house dating from the mid-16th century. It is timber framed and plastered, with a roof made of handmade red plain tiles. This building was rebuilt in the 16th century on the site of an open hall, which is associated with a crosswing to the southwest, now known as No. 30. The house has two storeys and features a two-window range of 20th-century casements. There is also a 20th-century lean-to porch with a red plain tile roof. Inside, the original timber frame is exposed, showcasing stop-chamfered beams.
