Description

Harvest Cottage is a house dating to the late 14th century. It is timber-framed and plastered, with a roof of handmade red plain tiles. The framing is exposed in the gable. Originally a crosswing of a former open hall house, it has a gabled front and a jettied first floor. The house is two storeys high and has a single-window range of 20th-century leaded casements. A 20th-century door is present. There are three plain brackets supporting the jetty. Extensive original timber framing survives, some of which is visible internally. The original structure relates to No. 28.
