Description
No. 30 Colneford Hill is a house dating from the mid-14th century. It is timber framed and plastered, with a roof made of handmade red plain tiles. The building features a crosswing that was part of a former open hall house, which has a gabled and jettied design facing the street. The house is two storeys tall. On the ground floor, there is one 20th-century casement window, while the first floor has one early 19th-century sash window with 16 lights made of crown glass. A small 20th-century lean-to porch with a red plain tile roof is present, supported by two plain brackets under the jetty. The original frame of the house is largely intact, with some exposed internally.
