Description

No. 24 Colneford Hill is a house dating from the mid-16th century. It features a timber frame that is plastered and has a roof made of handmade red plain tiles. The 16th-century section faces northwest and replaces the open hall that was previously associated with No. 22, which has a crosswing to the southwest. The house has two storeys. On the ground floor, there are two early 19th-century sash windows, each with three over six lights. The first floor has one early 19th-century sash window with twelve lights. The entrance includes a plain boarded door. Inside, parts of the frame are exposed, showcasing stop-chamfered joists.
