Description

No. 143 is a house located on Swan Street, dating from the 17th century or earlier, with later alterations. It is timber framed and rough rendered, featuring some red brick facing on the return wall. The house has a central red brick chimney stack and stands two storeys high. It has a two-window range of 19th-century vertically sliding sashes with glazing bars, and there is a bow over the upper right window. The entrance is marked by a central six-panelled door, which has a moulded surround and an open pediment.
