No. 6 High Street is a house dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is timber-framed with rough cast render and plastered brick. The roof is pantiled and features large red brick end stacks. The building has two storeys and a rear outshut. The entrance includes a six-panelled door, which is flanked by two 20th-century windows. On the first floor, there are three horizontal sliding sash windows. Inside, the house retains an exposed floor frame and an original hearth.
