Description

This is a cottage, dating to the 17th and 18th centuries, and now divided into two dwellings. It is timber-framed with plaster rendering, and has a brick plinth. A right-side porch, constructed of painted brick and covered with a red pantiled roof, projects outward. The thatched roof is extended to cover the centre of the building, and includes two flat-headed dormers above the porch. The cottage is one storey high with attics. It has central and external right chimney stacks made of red brick. The front façade features a three-window arrangement of small paned casement windows. There are two boarded doors, each with a light above and approached by steps. Inside, there are exposed ceiling beams and 18th century vertically boarded doors.
