Description
Forge Cottage is a cottage dating to the 17th and 18th centuries. It is timber framed and plastered, with decorative panel pargetting. The roof is red tile, half-hipped to the right and featuring two gabled dormers. An external red brick chimney stack is located on the left-hand side. The cottage is one storey high with attics, and has two windows with small, modern panes. A central, gabled open porch shelters a vertically boarded door. A wing extends to the rear. Internally, bridging and ceiling joists are visible. A further red brick chimney stack base is located on the right-hand side.
