Description
The attached barn, pigsties, and cartlodge at Stanfield's Farm date from the 18th century. They are timber framed and weatherboarded, with red brick plinths. The barn, located on the right, has a red plain tiled roof, while the central single-storey pigsties feature a red pantile roof. The left cartlodge has a half hipped red plain tiled gambrel roof. The barn includes a forward gabled midstrey and consists of five bays, with hanging knees to the tie beams and through bracing to the walls. The full height cartlodge has three bays and a loft above, also with hanging knees to the tie beams and top plates, and an outshot at the rear. This structure forms the southern range of the farmyard complex, which includes other listed buildings.
