Description
This is a barn from the 18th century, located at Stanfield's Farm. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, sitting on a red brick plinth. The roof is covered with red pantiles. The right three bays of the barn serve as stables, featuring a loft above, with two stable doors and one loft door. There are four open central bays supported by hanging knees to the tie beams, and to the left, there are three enclosed byre bays. Inside, the barn includes mangers with attached chains and a cobbled floor. This barn forms part of the western range of the farmyard complex, which includes other listed buildings nearby.
