Description

The Cross Keys is a public house that dates back to the 16th or 17th century, with later alterations and additions, including a red brick facing. The building features a timber frame with painted brick facing and a central band. It has a two-level roof covered with red plain tiles and is topped with restored red brick chimney stacks on the left and in the center. The structure is two storeys high and has a four-window range of small paned casements. There are double segmental arches above the two ground floor windows on the left. To the left, there is a gabled porch with a red tiled roof, supported by timber, which has two lights leading to a boarded door. To the right, there is a boarded door with a top light and two side lights, covered by a flat canopy.
