Description

This building, formerly known as "The Tunns," is a house located on New Street in Braintree, occupied by Henry Joscelyn Ltd. It dates from the 17th to 18th century and features a timber-framed and plastered structure. The house has two storeys at the north end and three storeys with attics at the south end, with the third storey added in either the 18th or 19th century. There are remnants of a jettied upper storey at the north end. The windows are irregular, primarily consisting of double-hung sashes with glazing bars, along with some casements. The roof is tiled. This house forms a group with the adjacent property at No. 4.
