Description

The Bell Inn is a building of mixed origins, dating to the 17th century with later alterations in the 18th century. Originally a timber-framed and plastered structure, it has a timber-framed and plastered front from the 18th century. It is three storeys high with a three-window front, featuring double-hung sash windows with glazing bars in flush cased frames. The upper floors were formerly jettied. The ground storey has been rebuilt in the 20th century with a glazed tile public house front. The roof is slate covered.
