Description
The Horn Hotel is a 17th-century building that was rebuilt in plastered brick during the 18th century. At the rear, there is a timber-framed wing that has also been altered in the 18th century and later. The front of the building is three storeys high and features a three-window range with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. Flanking an elliptical arched carriage entrance, which has been modified to create a recessed porch, are two shallow three-light bays that rise through two storeys and have cornices. Above the carriage entrance, the central window features a wooden balcony with ornamental iron railings. The roof is slate. The listed buildings from No 68 to No 80 on the south-east side form a group.
