Description
Nos 33 and 34 on Trumpington Street are a pair of buildings dating from the 16th century. They are two storeys high with attics, constructed from timber framing and plaster, and feature a tiled roof. The street frontage has three windows, including two hung sashes, and a central passageway on the ground floor leading to Tunwell's Court, flanked by 19th-century shop windows. The buildings have two hipped dormers and a timber dentil cornice. The rear wings connect to Tunwell's Court and are part of a range of 17th and 18th-century buildings. The structures are also timber framed and plastered, with some areas refaced in brick, and have sliding sash windows and a tiled roof. Inside, there is a room with bolection moulded panelling from around 1700. Nos 30, 31, 33 to 40 form a cohesive group.
