TL 7833 SIBLE HEDINGHAM ALDERFORD STREET (North Side) 11/210 Nos. 1 & 3(Mudpluggers 21 6 62 Motorcycles) & adjoining house (formerly listed as No 1 and Nos 2-3) GV II

Shop and house. C17 or earlier origin with C18 facade and C20 alterations. Timber framed and parget plastered. Red plain tiled roof hipped to left with a lower range roof to house at right. Large C20 attached shaft red brick chimney to rear left. Two storeys. 3:1 window range to first floors of small paned vertically sliding sashes, 2:2 to ground floor, those to left being bay shop windows with central recessed glazed shop door approached by three steps. Central four panelled door, plain surround, scroll brackets and flat canopy to house.
