Description

Milestone located outside number 60 on London Road, dating from 1730. It is made of stone, painted white with black lettering and Roman numerals. The domed top is badly worn and mutilated. Above the inscription "V MILES TO CAMBRIDGE AD MDCCXXX," there is a shield of arms of Trinity Hall, Cambridge, along with a hand with a pointing finger.
