Description

Yew Tree Cottage is a late 16th-century cottage located on the northwest side of High Street in Harston. It features a timber frame with plaster rendering and has been repaired with brick on the left side. The cottage has a thatched roof made of long straw, and it likely has an original ridge stack made of red and yellow brick from the late 17th or early 18th century. The layout follows a lobby entry plan, with three windows on the ground floor and a doorway situated opposite the stack.
