Description

Park House Stables is a cottage dating from the late 17th century. It is likely timber framed and plaster rendered, but the front is constructed of red brick that has been painted white, also from the late 17th century. The building features a plain tiled roof that is hipped at the junction with the rear range and includes a gablet. There is an original saw tooth and dentil eaves cornice along the front wall, and a rebuilt ridge stack made of yellow brick. The cottage is two storeys tall, with three later windows that interrupt the eaves cornice and three additional windows on the ground floor. The doorway is located opposite the stack.
