Description

Frogge Cottage, located on the south-west side of Frogge Street in Ickleton, is a pair of early 18th-century dwellings, possibly originally a single building. The structure is timber-framed and now has plastered walls with a corrugated asbestos roof. A square ridge stack is present. The building is one storey high with an attic. The frontage features two boarded doors, one to the right and one to the left, and four 19th-century ground-floor windows of varying sizes with glazing bars. A gabled dormer window with casements is situated on the front facade. The interior reveals an exposed timber frame, a floor frame, and a roof constructed of light scantling.
