Description

TL 4843 ICKLETON CHURCH STREET (East side) 21/224 No. 27 (Mill House Cottage) GV II Cottage. Early C18 with C20 alterations and additions. Timber-framed and plastered with C18 panelled decoration. Ridged pantiled roof formerly thatched. Two storeys, original two unit lobby entry plan. Central ridge stack. Gable to street with three C20 casement windows; main entrance in C20 side extension. Interior: relined open hearths, stop-chamfered ceiling beam originally with trap-door entry to first floor. RCHM Report 1949
