Description

Farm Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 16th century or earlier, with alterations made in the late 17th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and has a plastered exterior, topped with a 20th-century pantiled roof. The building has a ridge stack located to the left of the center. It consists of one storey and an attic, featuring inserted floors in the original open hall. The layout includes three units with outshuts on both the left and right gables. The cottage has a 20th-century boarded door, three ground floor windows with glazing bars, and one gabled dormer that contains a casement window. Inside, the roof was replaced after a fire around 1960, and there are two hearths with rubbed brick shaped heads leading to a pair of niches.
