Description

107 High Street is a cottage dating from the mid to late 17th century. It is constructed of painted brick and features a plain tiled roof with a gault brick ridge stack. The building stands two storeys high with an attic and has a gable facing the street. It has a three-unit plan with a lobby entry. The north facade includes a 20th-century open gabled porch and a half-glazed door, along with two casement windows with glazing bars on the first floor and three casement windows on the ground floor.

Inside, there is a shared stack with an inglenook hearth in the central room, and a smaller hearth with a rounded back and a moulded mantel beam in the north-west room. The ceiling beams display hallow ogee-moulding similar to that of the mantel beam. The building was altered in the 19th century to create three cottages.
