Description

This building is a garage located to the southwest of Number 97 on High Street in Great Abington. Originally constructed in the early 19th century, it was converted for use as a garage in the 20th century. The structure is made of flint rubble with red brick dressings and features a plain tiled pyramidal roof that has an interrupted pitch for louvred ventilation. The garage doors are from the 20th century and fit into the original opening, which has a segmental arch. On either side of the doors are two six-paned fixed light windows, also with segmental arches. The building is included for its group value and historical interest.
