Description

Two cottages, dated to the late 17th century. They are timber-framed with plaster rendering and have thatched roofs. A red brick ridge stack is positioned to the left of centre, with upper courses of gault brick, and another ridge stack is located to the right. The cottages are one storey high with an attic. The attic space is lit by three plain tiled gabled dormer windows; two have casement windows and one has horizontal sliding sashes. A 20th-century boarded door is present at No. 74, and a side entrance is located to the right at No. 72. Five ground floor casement windows, some 20th-century replacements, feature Gothic-lights.
